Assistance With Medications at Country Woods
At Country Woods Assisted Living, we know it’s important to monitor and manage medications. Our residents may have chronic conditions such as diabetes, osteoarthritis and/or hypertension, etc… Because of this, we understand how vital it is for them to receive their medication on time and in the proper doses. We utilize a system of checks and balances with our pharmacy and physicians, who also monitor medications and doses.
To help with this, we work to:
- Communicate closely with your loved one’s doctor regarding prescriptions and side effects
- Monitor self-management of medications in cases where it is needed
- Monitor and administer medications if required
- Order and fill new prescription medications
- Ensure all medications are properly stored and not expired
